Bioassay Reports ImagePeer Review and EI
Learn how scientists use peer review to improve and critique each other's research and how students and teachers can try a similar process.

Where should you start?

EI's Online Peer Review of Student Bioassay Reports
This online peer review system is designed for use with student bioassay experiments.
It consists of four steps:

Step 1 --
Register
Create a new login so that you can post and review bioassay reports.  If you have already registered, you can skip this step.

Step 2 -- Write and Post Your Draft Report
Once you have registered with the EI website, and have conducted research using a bioassay protocol, come here to post a research report for other students to review. You can view questions from the online report form if you want to prepare your report ahead of time. Type your answers into a word processor (for example, Microsoft Word), and then cut and paste them into the online form.

Step 3 -- Review Reports By Other Students
Come here to post feedback on your peers' bioassays.

Step 4 -- Read Reviews, Revise, and Publish Your Report
Visit this page to see what other students have said about your bioassay report.  After you have revised your report, you can publish it on the EI web site.
