How Can You Participate in Peer Review?
Any time you exchange ideas with fellow students about your research, you are participating in peer review. Examples of classroom peer review include:

• An informal discussion in which you present your research plan and get advice from your classmates;
• "Pair review," in which you team up with a partner and exchange feedback about some aspect of your project, ranging from experimental design to data analysis;
• A poster session in which students evaluate the research presented on each other's posters; and
• EI's online peer review, which enables you to exchange feedback about bioassay projects with students from distant classrooms who have carried out similar types of research.

Whenever you engage in any type of peer review, it's important to remember to make comments that are friendly and constructive.
